Amazing neighborhood diner. Great mix of American and Mexican breakfast dishes. The huevos rancheros, breakfast burrito, and breakfast quesadilla are all top notch. After trying so many other trendier breakfast locations in the Mission, this is still my favorite breakfast spot. Red Cafe is simple, the service is fast, and the staff is friendly.

Breakfast quesadilla, ever had one?! Red's got a good one. No nonsense latin-american diner serving traditional eggs and omlettes with Latin flair.

Had Christmas brunch here. If you are looking for an eatery with excellent food, well priced fresh food, this is the place. Wonderful staff, great food. Small interior, very casual. A must stop!!!

This morning i call for order some food an when i call this person answer my call he told me to hurry upSo i feel this is not righ.because when you have a restaurant you suppose to treak the people nice remember costumer go first not matter if you have a personal problems.so i feel this is not a good place to buy food anymore i Don’t think i came go back to this restaurant👎👎👎bad service

The tortillas in my chilaquiles were burnt toasted, and the eggs mixed in it were sparse. Only a tiny bit of egg stuck to a couple of my burnt chips. The server said that’s how they make chilaquiles there. So I sent back the burnt chips and ordered something else. The refried beans are completely liquid, thin, almost like water. When I let Sandra, the owner, know I didn’t want to pay for the burnt chips plate, she got so angry! She was extremely upset! After my husband calmly and patiently talked her out of it, she gave in but said she refuse service to us in the future. She was so mad after, she stood there with her arms crossed, saying stuff, and gave me a hand signal that means “your momma” in Latin America when we were ready to walk out. I do not recommend this place. Straight penny pinching.

This is my neighborhood favorite for breakfast. It truly is a place where the staff know your name and welcome you warmly every time. I almost always get the breakfast quesadilla - perfection!

I will forever love this place. I'm very satisfied every time I eat there. It's small but you can see the employees give it their all in the name of service. I will highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

Good spot for tasty, filling breakfasts. I LOVED the oatmeal pancakes and liked the corned beef hash (though it's not quite as exciting as it looks). The eggs, sausage, and toast were nice but standard. Portions were very large - prepare for leftovers unless you're very hungry. Service was efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere was nice - lots of locals coming in and chatting, giving it a real neighborhood feel. Décor was simple but nice, and interior was breezy and pleasant. Good spot for breakfast in the mission.

Super tasty breakfast at reasonable prices - one of the best cappuccinos I had whilst visiting San Francisco. Definitely recommend the corned beef hash - I didn’t want it to end

The servers are very friendly and the food came out in less than 10 minutes. The french toast and eggs are great! There are no substitutions on the menu items but you can get almost everything as a side dish to mix and match what you want.

We love this place for breakfast. It's always great, happy, fast service and the food is consistently fantastic! Really great coffee and cappuccino too. You can't go wrong.

Small restaurant but always seem to be crowded in a good way. Food was made to perfection and received it in a timely manner. The "bar' area you can even watch your food being made. Very friendly staff. Price is also on the cheaper side.

This place is amazing! Great food, excellent service, and clean restaurant. I recommend the chicken + eggs breakfast or the chicken fajitas lunch 👍🏼

It has Mexican food that is more like what you would eat in Mexico than the standard tacos and so on. I had eggs with shredded steak and peppers. The area is getting gentrified, and there were plenty of young tech workers, but the majority of customers were Latinos. It is a great mix with everyone eating and enjoying themselves

The Red Cafe was the ULTIMATE breakfast experience! It was busy, noisy, and smelled delicious. Service was quick and friendly. The menu was overflowing with options that looked delicious. My friend and I wound up ordering two very different things, and switched our plates halfway through the meal. Everything was delicious! I would come back again anytime!

Great place for breakfast. A couple good Salvadoran breakfast items on the menu. I always order one of those.I've eaten there more than a few times and the food has always been consistently good. P.S. The restroom is clean too and that's a good sign.
